Designer Profile

Raf Simons

Based in New York, Raf Simons was originally born and raised in Belgium, where he studied and obtained a degree in industrial design. In 1995, he became a self-trained menswear designer and launched his eponymous line, Raf Simons and continues to draw references to divergent sources, such as music and youth subculture. Raf is concurrently the creative director at Calvin Klein, following an extended tenure at Jil Sander and Christian Dior.
