Andrea Ainara

Andrea Ainara is a Dominican illustrator, character designer and 2D animator with an interest in fashion and storytelling.

In 2022, Ainara worked on her first animated short film titled Oscuro, Oscuuro, Oscuuuro, which made its debut at the AniShowCase. In 2023, Ainara moved to Barcelona to study 2D animation at the Escola de Cine de Barcelona, where she produced her second short film titled Pez Fuera Del Agua, which also screened at multiple festivals.

In 2024, Ainara became a producer of the short film Dios Se Baña Cuando Llueve, which she is still working on alongside her third experimental short, which uses oil pastels to paint her character's fashion design choices, revealing more about the character through fashion.
