This erotic wallpaper was commissioned by SHOWstudio and Peter Saville for the 'SHOWstudio: Fashion Revolution' exhibition. Starting with reference imagery of Japanese rope-suspension bondage, 18th century Troile de Jouy patterns and general erotica Julie Verhoeven created a number of explicit illustrations. These were used to create 'wallpaper for the computer' and a traditional wallpaper.
