Artist Rob Unett created nine one-off prints drawing on the S/S 20 fashion on set for Nick Knight and Unett's Chris Lee for Vogue China March 2020 cover. In keeping with the spirit of the shoot, Unett worked instinctively on layered perspex and then transformed the final artworks into prints exclusively for SHOWstudio.
'Reality becomes hyperreal and somehow the flatness feels wonderfully three dimensional as traditional techniques meet technology. Preparing all of my colours and tools beforehand, I used an array of techniques that included fine line, etched and collage elements. They are mini versions of the shoot that I hope compliment Nick Knight's amazing photographs.' Rob Unett
