Bringing the breathtaking private couture collection of the Honourable Daphne Guinness together with the art of fashion illustration, Nick Knight’s latest music video for the cultural icon, Hip, Neck, Spine, is brought to life with a showcase at SHOWstudio.

On the last weekend of April, Fantastic Toiles, landed at SHOWstudio for a 2 day pop-up shop. For this occasion, Barcelona-based artist Nicasio Torres created an interactive installation curated by gallery assistant Guadalupe Ferrandez.

To celebrate the minting of this first collection of digital collectables, SHOWstudio has launched Illustrating ikons. A physical space that brings the digital realm in which ikon-1 operates to life, by displaying a series of films documenting an exclusive look into the behind-the-scenes process, artefacts created on set and a collection of artworks by more than 10 contemporary illustrators who have transformed some of these digital designs into one-of-a-kind art pieces in their distinctive styles. 

Giving the selfie an artistic twist, SHOWstudio invited illustrators to draw self portraits in self isolation, selecting their favourite catwalk looks from the Autumn/Winter 2020 collections as their outfits of choice. The international illustrators' works hover somewhere between reality and imagination: projecting a fantasy self in clothing that is not yet available to wear, created in the restricted physical reality of COVID-19 containment.

SHOWstudio is proud to host the #DRAWFASHION ‘THINK PINK’ event in collaboration with London College of Fashion, Cass Art and Sindroms Magazine, raising funds in aid of Breast Cancer Care.

On the 20th August 2019, artists Stephen Doherty and William Farr collaborated live at SHOWstudio as part of Doherty's exhibition, 'Gratitude Blooms'. 

We are delighted to announce Stephen Doherty's solo show, entitled 'Gratitude Blooms'. Open from 12 July 2019, Mon - Fri at the SHOWstudio gallery, the exhibition showcases exquisite floral artworks, conceived during an artist residency in Goa.
