Phoebe Howard

Phoebe Howard is a London-based visual artist. After graduating from Chelsea College of Art in 2022 with a BA in Textiles, Howard enrolled on the scholarship postgraduate-level course Drawing Year at the Royal Drawing School in 2023.

Howard is interested in depicting the intimacies between women, drawing from her love of textiles and fashion to clothe the characters she creates and winding together fictional narratives and personal mythologies. Howard's interest in textiles resonates in her techniques, as her mark-making is often reminiscent of patchwork and tapestry.
